NIAX Catalyst A-1 Dipropylene glycol solution of 70% bis (dimethylaminoethyl) ether and strong foaming catalyst are commonly referred to as catalyst A-1 or A1 in domestic industry. A-1 catalyst is mainly used in the production of soft polyether polyurethane foam plastics, and also in hard foams for packaging. A-1 is especially effective in water, so it can reduce foam density. Its effectiveness in controlling the production of gas is about 80%, and the effect on controlling the gel reaction is about 20%. The catalyst has high activity and low dosage, and can control foaming and gelation time by adjusting the dosage of the series. The common use of A-1 and organotin catalyst can obviously improve the production tolerance of foamed plastics, ensure that no unnecessary quality problems are caused by careless operation or small errors in measurement system, and produce high-quality soft foamed plastics. A-1 catalyst is widely used in various formulations of polyurethane foams, especially in the production of high resilience, semi-rigid foams and low density foams.

It is packed in a clean, dry, sealed and leak-free special plastic drum with a net weight of 25kg.

storage and transportation

When transporting catalyst A-1, it should be strictly prevented from raining and contamination, and handled carefully to prevent leakage from collision with hard objects. When storing catalyst A-1, it should be stored at room temperature in a ventilated and dry warehouse to avoid damp environment, and the storage temperature should be kept below 25 C, avoiding sunshine exposure as far as possible, away from water sources and heat sources. In order to prevent moisture absorption and oxidation, it is suggested to fill the container with nitrogen.

Under the correct storage conditions, the shelf life is 6 months from the date of production, and it can still be used after the expiration of the shelf life.

Leakage treatment

Material should be avoided from entering groundwater or surface water because it is not easily biodegradable.
