NIAX Catalyst A-33 33% triethylenediamine dipropylene glycol solution, an industrial standard product, is commonly referred to as catalyst A33 or A-33 in China. Triethylenediamine, also known as triethylenediamine, has a unique chemical structure. It is a cage compound with three ethylene groups attached to two nitrogen atoms. The bimolecular structure is very dense and symmetrical. It can be seen from the structural formula that there is no substituent with large steric hindrance on N atom, and its pair of empty electrons are easily accessible. In foaming system, once the carbamate bond is formed, it will be free, which is conducive to further catalysis. For this reason, although three ethylene two amine is not a strong base, it exhibits extremely high catalytic activity for the reaction of isocyanate group and active hydrogen compounds, and is a strong gel catalyst.

It is packed in a clean, dry, sealed and leak-free special plastic drum with a net weight of 25kg.

storage and transportation

When transporting catalyst A-33, it should be strictly prevented from raining and contamination, and handled carefully to prevent leakage from collision with hard objects. When storing catalyst A-33, it should be stored at room temperature in a ventilated and dry warehouse to avoid damp environment, and the storage temperature should be kept below 25 C, avoid sunshine exposure as far as possible, away from water sources and heat sources. In order to prevent moisture absorption and oxidation, it is suggested to fill the container with nitrogen.

Under the correct storage conditions, the shelf life is 6 months from the date of production, and it can still be used after the expiration of the shelf life.

Catalyst A-33 is toxic to some extent and should be washed with soapy water in time after contact with skin. Workers can wear eye shields or safety glasses to protect their eyes. Eye washing and washing equipment should be provided near the workplace. Personal hygiene should be paid attention to when working in places where products may be contacted. Washing products should be used to clean the skin contacted with products before diet, smoking and leaving work.

Leakage treatment

Prevent leakage as much as possible while ensuring safety. If minor leaks are found, they can be treated with sand or other absorbent materials and then placed in clean, dry containers for subsequent treatment. If a large number of leaks occur, the leaked materials should be collected for subsequent treatment. Material should be avoided from entering groundwater or surface water because it is not easily biodegradable.
