The harmful substances in the new national standard were added to 18 items and subdivided into three categories.
In the old national standard, a total of 7 harmful substances (4 of which are heavy metals) have been limited. In the new national standard, the number is 18, which is divided into three categories: harmful substance content, harmful substance release and odor.
The new national standard stipulates 18 kinds of harmful substances that may be produced in the construction of campus runway, and limits the volatile organic compounds in the built runway according to the standard of home decoration. If the total volatile organic compounds produced in the runway should not be higher than 5 mg/cubic meters, formaldehyde should not be higher than 0.4 mg/cubic meters, and carbon disulfide should not be higher than 7 mg/cubic meters. The requirement of odor grade index is also increased to ensure that the synthetic surface layer is close to odorless in practical use. If the grade of odor assessment is grade 4, further cause analysis and rectification should be carried out. If the odor assessment is still not up to the standard after one month, replacement or removal should be carried out. When the olfaction rating is 5, removal should be done.
Undeniably, compared with the old standard, the new national standard has made great progress, but the vitality of the standard lies in the implementation; the new national standard for the quality improvement of plastic runway and quality and safety checking ability in the end, it is important to see the landing and implementation of the standard.
