MEG ethylene glycol is mainly used to make polyurethane P, polyester polyester, polyester resin, moisture absorbent, plasticizer, surfactant, synthetic fiber, cosmetics and explosives. It is also used as solvent for dyes, ink, antifreeze agent for engine, gas dehydrating agent, resin, wetting agent for cellophane, fibre, leather and adhesives. It can produce synthetic resin PET.
